MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC chipset processor data was leaked today by Gizmochina. Which was seen with Xiaomi’s HyperOS software. Gizmochina says that the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset was first spotted running Xiaomi’s hyperOS software. This reveals the model number of the chipset. While it is not confirmed if the chipset will be launched or not, it does confirm that MediaTek chipsets are being tested with Xiaomi. The software database shows a new model MT6899 added which represents the MediaTek Dimensity 8400.
To confirm this, they have also shared another database in which they say that there is a MT6896 model for the Dimensity 8200, MT6897 model for the Dimensity 8300, MT6989 for the Dimensity 9300 and MT6991 model for the Dimensity 9400. And now the latest Dimensity 8400 has been spotted with the MT6899 model. The chip of this model is not available in the market. It is being speculated that this is the Mediatek Dimensity 8400 chip.
