The first phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 will be launched in Delhi on 16 October 2024 (4:00pm). Although this chipset was launched a month ago. But Qualcomm has decided to integrate this chipset with the phone which is ready to bring to the market. It has been revealed that the first phone with this chipset will be launched in Delhi. So let’s hope that the phone is likely to come first in India.
When Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 was being launched, Qualcomm had partnered with Xiaomi. They said that the first phone to come with this chipset would be Xiaomi Redmi. However, the company has already confirmed that the phones coming with this chipset will be cheap 5G phones.
If this claim of the company is correct, then we hope that. Redmi 13 series or Redmi Note 14 series can come with this chipset. Both of which are devices in the cheap phone segment. If seen, recently Redmi 13s was launched in India for below Rs 10,000. It is being said in the rumors that 5G phones of Redmi 13 series can come with this chipset. Which is said to be below Rs 12,000.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 based phone specs (Expect)
With a phone powered by Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, we expect some specs on the phone which could be as follows. The upcoming device will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will feature a 50MP primary and 8-megapixel selfie camera, an 18-watt charger to charge the 5000mAh battery. Apart from this, we can expect it to run on HyperOS 1 based on Android 14. Apart from this, it will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, there is no official information available about the phone right now. We will have to wait till October 16 for that. Or we can expect the news of the device to leak before the name of the device is revealed.
