Honor has confirmed that it will launch its new smartphone Honor X60 series in China on October 16. It will include 3 more models of the X60 series. The company has teased the new X60 series by calling it a better version of Honor’s previous launch Honor X50. However, the company also said that the upcoming device will have many upgrades as compared to Honor X50. We expect the upcoming phone to be one of the mid-range phones. As the company has mentioned its old Honor X50 that till now it has sold more than 15 million units. Every 2.7 seconds one unit is being sold worldwide. Which has been a very good performance till now. Keeping all this in mind and understanding its Honor users, Honor is going to enter the Chinese market on October 16 with a lot of changes in the X60.
There is a possibility of adding new features in the Honor X60. Which is that the device will be based on MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. The 6.8-inch AMOLED FHD + (2412X1080) display will be with 120Hz refresh rates. It will pack a 5,800mAh battery with a 35 watt charger inside the box. 108MP will be added in the primary and 8MP in the front. The thickness of the phone will be 7.88mm and it will weigh 190 grams.
Recently, a leak of the phone’s about section revealed that it will have 12GB RAM with 12GB RAM virtual RAM and 256GB storage. It will pack Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14. The company has mentioned the design and said that it will provide much stronger and security than the previous X50 series. But we do not know what kind of security it will have, hopefully there may be talk of adding IP-rating.
The three other models in the Honor X60 series are expected to be the Honor X60, X60 Pro, and X60 GT. The specifications of these models are not yet known. They will be revealed on the launch day.
